Founded by Gurleen Kaur Dhaliwal, Roar brings together the worlds of interior design, fashion, art and European aesthetics — creating spaces that are sophisticated without feeling overly styled, and luxurious without losing their warmth.
With a design perspective shaped by Paris, Roar's signature is deeply influenced by French Parisian interiors: elegant proportions, layered textures, beautiful materials, considered furniture, natural light, and the effortless character that makes a space feel collected over time.

I have always believed that the best interiors are the ones that feel natural to the people living in them.
For me, interior design is not just about making a space look beautiful. It is about understanding how someone lives, what they need from a space, what they are drawn to, and then bringing all of that together in a way that feels effortless.
At Roar Interiors, I like to start with the basics — the layout, the light, the proportions, the materials and the way the space flows. From there, it is really about the details. The texture of a wall, the finish of a piece of furniture, the lighting, the fabrics, the art, even the smaller things that quietly change the way a room feels.

I also don’t believe in giving every project the same look. Every home, every location and every client is different. A house in the hills should feel connected to its surroundings. A city home should work around the way its owners actually live. An older property should keep some of the character that made it special in the first place.
My background in design, along with the time I have spent around different spaces, cultures and ways of living, has shaped the way I see interiors. I am naturally drawn to spaces that feel layered, warm and considered — but never overly styled.
I want the homes we create to feel beautiful, of course, but more than that, I want them to feel comfortable, personal and lived in.
