The restoration of this Dalhousie bungalow began with a simple principle: preserve what makes the house itself.
Its verandahs, pitched roof, timber elements and original proportions were carefully repaired rather than replaced, allowing the building's age and character to remain visible.
The interiors combine restored architectural elements with comfortable contemporary furnishings, creating a home that feels historic without becoming museum-like.
